I'm finally home again, after 10 months living the other life in Belgium which has taught me a lot of things about life.
Things are different since I'm back to Indonesia, especially in Photography. Belgium is a heaven for architecture, the station, church and its little street (Klein gang in Dutch??) have their own vibe and characteristic which make them perfect as an object. Time is one of the challenges as it changed during the year. If you take a sunset photo at summer, it will be around 10pm, and then when the winter comes, it changed round 5pm and for me as one of the people that living in Asia it is quite rare. There are few other things that Belgium has like easy access, easy planning, and etc.
Meanwhile in Indonesia, things are different. Indonesia doesn’t provide the enormous building like Europe, I know that we have temples and modern building spread around Indonesia, but still it’s not as good as Europe’s building, what we provide is the beauty of nature which we are well known for it. This thing is also a challenge as the terrain is quite challenging, you need to be careful with your gear if you went to places, for example the beach or waterfall. Other challenge is access to the spot and making a plan as there is not much info about the spot (especially in my city).
